Wausau Alliance Church

Deaf Ministry

“Glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who make disciples of all the nations.”

The deaf ministry at Wausau Alliance exists to reach the deaf community of Wausau and beyond for Christ, making disciples who make disciples of all the nations.

We are a community of deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing believers who are committed to making disciples of one of the most unreached people groups in the world. We share a hunger for the Word of God, a pursuit of deep spiritual intimacy with Him, and a love for being together, as the family of God.

With God’s help, we are pursuing these things together:

  • Deaf and deaf advocates as maturing disciples of Jesus Christ
  • Developing leaders from within the deaf community (e.g. leading bible studies,
    discipleship groups)
  • A Christ-exalting relationship of love and unity between deaf and hearing in our
    church
