Children's Church is another aspect of the Children's Ministry at Wausau Alliance Church. Children's Church is committed to partnering with parents in presenting the gospel message to all children, inviting them to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior and then discipling them in their walk with the Lord. To accomplish this goal, we use the curriculum developed by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), which presents the Bible in its entirety in chronological order over a three year period. Every lesson has a twofold purpose: 1) to present the gospel message fro those who have never heard it, and 2) to encourage children who believe in Jesus to apply Biblical truths to their lives.
Developing a worldview of Christianity is another important aspect of Wausau Alliance Children's Church. Every sixth Sunday, the children learn about missions through missionary guests or the "Kids on a Mission" curriculum. Children learn what missionaries do, why it is so hard to reach people, and how people have been called to missions. Most importantly, they learn that God loves all people and is patient in wanting them to all come to know Him. Each class has time for offering, prayer, memory verses, lesson time, game review, and of course, everyone's favorite-snack time!!
If your child is between the ages of three and seven (or in 2nd grade), we invite him/her to come to Children's Church to join us in glorifying God by learning who He is through His word, prayer, and fellowship.
